The Company has been established since 1993 and has an excellent reputation within the industry. Since 2008, the company has been owned by Glover Site Investigation Ltd. It's strategic focus is pure contracting with its prime objectives to work with and add a competitive edge to consultancies, rather than compete with them.

The mainstay of GRL's drilling service rests on its fleet of rotary rigs, providing drilling, soil and rock sampling and well installation to a depth of up to 60 metres anywhere in the UK. This is due to GRL's suite of down the hole equipment which can be mixed and matched to suit all ground conditions.
These are used to extract soil samples at various depths and to install monitoring wells to collect groundwater and vapour samples. These multi functional rigs are small, powerful and incredibly flexible when combined with our wide range of down the hole equipment such as ODEX, Hollow Stem Augers etc. They allow ease of access with a width of 1.2m and a working height under 4m (less than a garage canopy).
